Hello from Sydney

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to let you know I arrived in Sydney, Australia safely last Friday. My trip was a lot smoother this time around than the last. My flight arrived an hour early and my luggage was waiting for me as I walked up to the luggage carousel. I made it through customs with no problem and headed off to my new apartment. The apartment is nice and in a really nice part of town. The office is within walking distance (just over a km as they say in Sydney), but it has rained every day since I arrived. I guess it has rained 11 days in a row which is a record in the past 15 years. Despite the rain, the temperature remains warm even though it's winter here. The worst part about that is the fact that is gets dark at 5pm.

In the short amount of time I have been here, I have found a couple shopping centers and grocery stores. Everything here is really expensive similar to what you would expect in London or New York City. A gallon of gas is nearly five dollars and a case of diet coke costs almost twenty dollars. That's almost enough to help me kick my caffeine habit.....almost.

That's all I have for now. I will post some pictures once I get a chance to take some. I miss you all, but especially my beautiful bride and our crazy little puffballs.
